We are returning to the Southern Appalachian Mountains in search of more trout. Each trip will be 4 days / 3 nights, staying in cabins and fishing the rivers and streams in upper East Tennessee and Western North Carolina for rainbow, brook, and brown trout. Each adventure includes 2 half day wading trips, 2 full day drift boat trips, breakfast each morning, lunch on the river, dinners at night and fly casting instructions. The June trip will focus on dry fly fishing since a hatch will be happening. Below are some pictures from our past trips. If you would like to go on other dates, we can do that too. Call or send me a note for more details.
For the anglers that prefer to access the water from the bank, wade fishing is a very quiet, tranquil, and relaxing approach. We'll be standing nearby and help you get into position, change out flies, and take pictures of you prize.
Drift boat fishing is an ideal way to see miles of the river and fish varying conditions from deeper water and calmer rapids while using streamers and midges. Lunch is provided on the river.
You'll need to be in pretty good shape for this adventure, but the rewards are worth it. We'll hike into the mountains and access some streams only available by foot. The fish will probably be a little smaller, but the scenery will be huge and you'll be encapsulated by Mother Earth.
A $200 deposit is required to reserve a trip. If I have not received a deposit within 14 days of booking the trip, I reserve the right to rebook that date without notice. I accept credit cards and cash. No checks.
The captain reserves the right to cancel the trip due to dangerous conditions and a full refund is available. If the client cancels a trip outside of 30 days, a full refund is available. If a client cancels a trip inside of 30 days, the deposit will be applied for a future trip within the same calendar yea
You'll need to dress for the weather: clothing, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses. Cameras are a good option. If you have your own fly rod, reel, waders, and boots bring those too. Cleated boots are not allowed in the boats.
